Raising Readers at RSU 18: Oh Chickadee
Join Ms. Hanauer-Milne, of Belgrade Central School, as she shares the beloved story, Oh Chickadee by Jennifer Richard Jacobson!
As always, we are giving away a copy of the book to one lucky district student who participates in the extension activity! To be entered into the district drawing, follow the steps below:
2. Email communications@rsu18.org a photo of your child’s extension activity! Submissions are due next Friday, December 15th.
Extension Activity:
Make a pinecone bird feeder! Find a pinecone and tie a piece of string or twine to hang it! Fill the crevices with peanut butter and roll in black oil sunflower seeds (preferred by chickadees) or another bird seed mix! Hang your feeder in a place where you can watch for new feathered friends.
