Dear Students, Staff, and Parents,
The death of a MHS student last week has greatly impacted our entire community.    As we get ready to come back to school next week, I want to share some of the ongoing care that will be available.  
We will be hosting a support session at Messalonskee High School on Monday December 30th from 9 AM to 11 AM. This session will be an opportunity for students, staff, and parents to come together to talk about their feelings and get the help they need. At that time, school counselors and additional counselors will be present to provide guidance, counseling, and a listening ear to anyone who needs it.
Furthermore, we will have counselors available at Messalonskee High School and Messalonskee Middle School on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, when students return from Winter Break. We want to ensure that everyone has access to the assistance they need as we transition back to school.
We encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out and take advantage of these resources. Your well-being is our priority.
