MHS Senior Haley Lowell Named Miss Maine Field Hockey
Messalonskee senior Haley Lowell earned a reputation as one of the top midfielders in the state this season, with dominant play across both sides of the field.
Sunday afternoon, she was rewarded with the sport’s top award: Miss Maine Field Hockey.
Lowell was one of two finalists for the award, given annually to the state’s top senior player.
Boothbay senior Sydney Meader, who has committed to the University of Maine, was the other finalist.
Lowell, a Boston University commit, scored seven goals and added three assists for the Eagles. She also had one defensive save.
Lowell finished her standout career with 34 goals, 23 assists and three defensive saves.
