Parent Portal Information

When you enter the portal you will see information on your child’s grades and attendance. You may see changes throughout the week as teachers update grades. Teachers will often have work due just prior to the weekend. For this reason, do not expect to see assignments that are turned in on Friday until the following week.

Any names or numbers that are in color are links to more information.

Navigating buttons are along the left side of the screen. At any time you may choose ‘Help’, located next to ‘Sign Out’.

Grades & Attendance button
Grades and Attendance will open automatically and will show you all of the grades and attendance information on your child. Clicking on a grade will bring up a list of assignments in the class with individual grades for each assignment. Clicking on the number of Absences will give you a list of dates your child has been absent and will show you a code so that you can see if the absence was excused or not. A table of codes is at the bottom of this page.

Grade History Button
The Grades History button will give you a list of grades for past terms. This will be empty until the end of the first quarter.

Email Notification Button
Email Notification will allow you to schedule an email to any account you list. The information you can send to yourself consists of grades, assignments and attendance.

Teacher Comments Button
Teacher comments is another area where teachers can communicate with you regarding your child’s progress in the class. These have traditionally been updated 2 times each quarter but teachers will be able to update these at any time as a means of communication with you.

My Schedule Button
This screen is a matrix view of the students current class schedule.

Account Preferences Button
Allows you to change your account information, email address, username and password. You may also add students. Please remember you will need specific Student Access ID, Student Access Password, and your relationship to the student.

If you have questions regarding assignments, grades or codes that are not on the code table, then please contact the teacher either through email or by phone. If you run into any other issues, please call your child’s school.
