GT Medieval Fair
Twenty-five GT students turned the James H. Bean School gym into a Medieval Fair Thursday night, December 5th. There were jesters, kings, lords, carpenters, blacksmiths, bakers, warriors, knights, a doctor, a sheriff, and a marshall. Joan of Arc even appeared twice! The fair was the culminating project of a study of the Middle Ages that included feudalism, microbes (the plague!), and research into the roles of people who lived during that time. Students brought their roles to life by dressing for their parts and sharing information through epic or how-to poetry. A special appearance by juggler extraordinaire Ethan Glueck capped off the evening.
