We are excited to congratulate Cole, a 3rd grader at China Primary School, as December’s Raising Readers at RSU 18 winner for the book Who’s That Knocking on Christmas Eve? by Jan Brett!
After listening to Mr. Quartucci read this festive favorite, Cole went above and beyond by completing the extension activity—writing a creative diary entry from the perspective of the trolls. His thoughtful work and dedication to reading truly stood out.
Because of his hard work, Cole earned a copy of the book for himself, and he didn’t stop there! He also earned additional copies for both his classroom and the CPS school library, helping to spread the joy of reading to others. 📚
To celebrate this achievement, Assistant Superintendent Mr. Morin delivered the books to Cole yesterday, recognizing his commitment and enthusiasm for reading.
